There are a variety of reasons to attend conferences and events that are related to your industry.  It’s not always about the information presented, but here are my 5 top benefits you’ll receive when attending the next event.

You may have heard this before; but your net worth is typically the average of your 5 closest friends’ net worth.  So, the question is… who do you hang around with?  How would your net worth change if you started hanging out with millionaires or even billionaires?  Find out what’s working for other successful entrepreneurs in your industry. Find out what’s working for other successful entrepreneurs in your industry.  Make friends with likeminded people who can share their experiences with you.  These relationships will be invaluable to you.

2.  Branding ~ your business and yourself as a professional and expert in your industry.  By networking and attending enough conferences while maintaining a positive web presence on the internet, you will become one of the people that other people in your industry want to get to know.
